Mandarine : Sleveless top knitting pattern

Released in my Ravelry Store

 

Mandarine top - front

 

Top begins at the top back with a provisional cast-on; and is worked back and forth to underarm back.

Then, provisional cast on stitches are picked up to work front, back and forth, to underarm.

After increasing for underarm shaping, remainder of top is worked in the round.

The stitch definition gives the waist shaping.

Pattern avalaible to fit size S (M) - Europe 34-36 (38-40), UK 8-10 (12-14), USA 6-8 (10-12) - fitted.

  • Bust 81-86 (91-97) cm / 32-34 (36-38) inch
  • Waist 61-66 (71-76) cm / 24-26 (28-30) inch
  • Hips 86-91 (97-102) cm / 34-36 (38-40) inch

Savanne : Raglan top-down with stripes knitting pattern

The sweater is worked from the top down, with a raglan construction. It is worked in the round until the underarm and then the body and the sleeves are separated. The body and the sleeves are then worked in the round until the bottom.

This pattern is available to fit a size S (M) - Europe 34-36 (38-40), UK 8-10 (12-14), USA 6-8 (10-12) - fitted.

Capuccino Sweater pattern

Just released in my Ravelry Store:

 Capuccino sleeve Capuccino front
This sweater is worked from the top down, with a raglan construction. It is worked back and forth until the neck shaping and the placket neckline opening are finished. Then the body and the sleeves are worked in the round. The neck collar is bordered with 2 crocheted rows.
This pattern is available to fit size S (M) - Europe 34-36 (38-40), UK 8-10 (12-14), USA 6-8 (10-12) - fitted.

Cable cast on increasing : tutorial

 

When you have to increase more than 2 stitches at a border, for sleeves or underarm , you can  increase with the cable cast-on as follows:

1. Insert Right needle between the 1st and 2nd st

2. Wrap the working yarn around needle

3. Pull a loop through the 2 st

4. Transfer the new st on Left needle

5. One new st increased

6. Start again from 1 to 5 for the desired number of st.

7. New stitches increased

8. Knit these new stitches

Ndizi Socks : new pattern

Here are my new sock pattern, they are named Ndizi, as when I was knitting them, I always see a banana and Ndizi is the Swahili word for banana.
These socks are knitted from the top-down, with patterned gusset and heel flap. The lace stitch is charted.
This design is worked with lace stitches in every row.
The socks shown are knitted in size S (38-40 European foot) for a woman, with  Fortissima Socka mit Bambou from Schoeller + Stahl (400 m / 438 y 100g) and needle 2.25mm
The pattern is available in 2 sizes to fit a 38-40 [41-43] European size foot S [M].
