Color Wheel Socks : new free sock knitting pattern

Just released in my Ravelry Store  a new free Sock pattern:

 Color Wheel Socks :

These socks are perfect to use Sock yarn left-over. For the Small size I have used less than 1 skein for the main color and about 3 m for each color band.

The color ripples are worked using slipping stitches in a Mosaic pattern, so only one color is worked for each round. A fun and easy pattern to knit.

Finished size

To fit a S – M - L Size

Foot circumference 20 – 21 - 22.5 cm / 8 - 8.5 - 9 inch unstretched

Leg length 16.5 cm / 6.5 inch

Yarn

Fingering weight (200 m - (218 y) / 50 g skein)

Main Color 1 skein, CC about 0.75 g (3m) for each of 12 colors.

Baikka Hat–crocheted hat pattern

As I remember, I’ve always loved hat, all kinds of hat but especially vintage hat. So I’ve decided to crochet one for me.

The pattern has been released to my Ravelry store :

Baikka Hat 

This crocheted hat begins at the center crown and is worked to the brim down.

Pattern written to fit head circumference 54 cm / 21 inches – Medium

The special stitch of the main part of the hat is explained with a step by step tutorial.

Leontine fingerless mittens : knitting pattern

Leontine Fingerless mittens

 

To fit size 7.5’’/8’’ (9’’) – small / Medium (Large)
Hand circumference 19 /20 (22.5) cm / 7.5 / 8.0 (9) inch

The cuff begins with crocheted chain stitch, and then stitches are picked-up and knitted (step by step tutorial included).
To give a nice shape to the ruffled cuff, it is knitted with bigger needle.

The cuff pattern is charted.

The main part of mitten is knitted in stockinette stitch, and the borders and cuff are crocheted with nice lacy pattern.

The cuff begin with crocheted chain stitch, then stitches are picked-up and knitted. A step by step tutorial is shown. These fingerless mittens are bordered with a ruffled cuff, and knit with some simple cables. Cables pattern is charted.
